Bummas Review and Giveaway

I received these lovely 5x7 wipes and LOVED them!  There is a soft side and a side that kind of feel like a towel.  I use the soft side to wipe my son's bottom clean and then the towel side to dry his bottom.  I love how I no longer have to use two wipes to clean and then to dry.  These wipes are very well made and have cute colors to them.  There are many different sets too!  There is 10 in a pack, which makes them SUCH a value!  I mean, think of how many times you can reuse 10 wipes and compare that to how long disposable wipes last.  On top of that, with a disposable wipe, how many times have you been searching and searching for a towel or something to wipe the butt dry?  I know I have been stuck there a couple of times before I started using cloth wipes.

Snuggli Bebe Review and Giveaway

Snuggli Bebe just came out with new washies!  Did you know that?  They are made of organic bamboo hemp fleece on one side and organic terry on the other.  These are some REALLY soft washies!  And they really do the job!  I used one to test as a wipe and of course, it worked wonderfully.  Used the bamboo side to wipe and the terry side to dry!  I love it when wipes have the two different sides because it works wonderfully for both things in just one wipe!  I used the other one to test as a wash cloth in the tub.  Luke loved it.  It is so much softer then all the wash cloths he has and with his sensitive skin, I am always having to use my hands to wash him.  This washy i was able to use to wash him without him turning red all over.  And I think he got a kick out of being able to help mama wash himself!

OS Pocket Diaper Review and Giveaway Sponsored by Cloth By Tel

The diapers that Cloth By Tel sells are SO adorable, and REALLY cheap ($8 a diaper!).  These diapers are very soft and sooooo cute!  They are perfect for during the day, add a hemp insert in there and you have a perfect overnight diaper!  These diapers fit so perfectly.  This diaper has been tested on my friends daughter, because of my son's new found allergy to PUL and my friend did not want a picture of her daughter in a diaper posted, so that is why there is no picture of the diaper being worn.  But trust me when I say it is a WONDERFUL fit!  Her daughter is 2 1/2 years old weighing in at 28 lbs.  I wish this was a diaper I could keep because it is SO cute!

Not only does Cloth By Tel include wonderfully priced diapers, but she also includes amazing customer service.  She is such a nice mama that really keeps you on top of everything that is going on.  I really enjoyed my experience with her and would do business with her again.

She also provided me with three wipes to review and giveaway.  These wipes are SO soft and are the most perfect size!  They are such cute prints that I didn't want to part with the giveaway ones! :-(

Avec Amore Review and Giveaway

For anyone that doesn't know French, I just wanted to translate this store name for you.  Avec Amore means With Love in English.  Isn't that cute???  Anyways....

This mama is very good with customer service.  She keep me up to date on everything that was going on!  I always love that when I am doing a review and giveaway because it helps me be able to schedule everything better.

This was my first AIO diaper and I have to say it was a pleasant surprise.  This diaper can hold a lot of fluid and is super cute and fits perfectly.  They are really cheap too!  Only $12 a diaper!

There is a couple things I should mention for this diaper: (1) There is no PUL, so if you have an extreme day wetter, use a cover with it.  If you don't this diaper should work fine with your little one.  (2) The hook and loop on this diaper is kind of skinny so it takes a couple seconds longer to get it sitting just right on there.

Since I have received this diaper, I have tried a few other AIO's and I have to say that this one has one of the shortest drying times out of them all!  Over all, I am very satisfied with this diaper!

CC Bums Review and Giveaway

I really wanted to purchase a CC Bums diaper, so I did.  I asked her if we could do a giveaway too and she said yes!  Are you excited?  I know I am!

I was so excited while I was customizing the perfect diaper for us.  I started off with that I wanted a pocket diaper.  Then I had the choice of insert, and I chose a cotton trifold insert.  Then I got to pick the outside and I chose the John Deere Camo Fleece.  And THEN I got to pick the inside, which I chose cotton velour.  So, for a completely custom diaper, I only paid $17.50 for it!  That is less then buying a name brand diaper that you just pick from what your favorite is!

This mama is so fast at getting the diaper out also.  She had it out to me within just a few days.  I couldn't wait to get it and use it!  As soon as the diaper was all set to go, I put it on and LOVED it!  It was so funny because the first time we tried to review it, he fell into his grandma's dogs water bowl with just the diaper on and....of course it got soaked!  But, want to know something amazing?  Over HALF of the water from the bowl was now absorbed into the diaper!

SOOOO, we washed the diaper and tried again.  I was able to keep it on him all threw nap time with NO LEAKS!  I love how this diaper worked!  Also, the design of the diaper is a HUGE hit down here!  Everyone thinks it's the best thing ever (we live in VA where John Deere and hunting is a big thing--except I hate hunting...I love supporting our troops though).

 

Don't mind the red marks on his leg, we are still dealing with getting rid of him allergic reaction.

Sundays

Sundays here are a busy day, I was wondering how everyone else spends their Sundays.

We get up at 6 AM when I go to work.  I come home at about 8:30AM to get Luke ready to go to church with his grandma.  She is usually here at about 9AM and he comes home at 11-11:30 AM.  We watch Joel on the internet streaming at 10AM.  When that is over, we get ready for the rest of the day (showers and all).  Then we eat lunch, put Luke down for a nap and start cleaning.  When the cleaning is over, Luke wakes up.  We get him up and then wash diapers.  Then it is mommy, daddy, Luke time when we go out grocery shopping and then bring the groceries home, put them away and go out for dinner.  When we get back from dinner, we get Luke ready for bed.  He goes to bed at 7PM then me and hubby watch a movie and go to bed.

The mornings are horrible, but the rest of the day seems to be okay, but I was wondering how you mamas do it all on Sundays.

Needing advice

Can you guys all help me?  I am needing advice about the blog.  Do you like the way I blog?  Do you like that it is only about the products, or would you mamas like if I also blogged about what is going on with me and the fam.  Let me know, I would love feedback.  Also, any feedback that you may have about the set up of the blog would be helpful.  Thanks again mamas!

These minky wipes are the perfect size and texture for my little ones oh so sensitive bottom.  I love them so much!  They work wonderfully and are very well made.

Cotton Tail Babies Review and Giveaway

I would like to start with the amazing customer service that this Etsy shop has!  I purchased my pair of longies and asked them if it would be okay for them to supply one for a giveaway.  They were more then game!

I got to custom pick my fabric that I wanted my fleece longies to be.  With so many amazing choices, this was a VERY hard decision to make.  I finally decided on these ones:

I love them, and even more importantly, hubby loves them!  For the first time ever, he doesn't mind using prefolds or fitteds if he gets to put these longies on our son.  I think it is super cute!  Not only do these work great, but they have an amazing fit to them also!  In the above pictures, my son was wearing a Mother-Ease OS Fitted diaper, and you can't even tell that my son is wearing a cloth diaper.  It just looks like he is wearing the most awesome pants ever!

Econobum Review Sponsored by Jennifer's Cloth Diaper Boutique

I just wanted to tell everyone about this diaper for a minute.  Lynda from Jennifer's Cloth Diaper Boutique, an amazing women that will tell you her honest opinion on diapers and how her daughter who uses them feels about them also, gave me a white Econobum cover and prefold to try out.

Honestly, I love this diaper.  There really isn't many other options to go cheap, but with the Econobum, there is a way!  These prefolds are the best prefolds there ever was.  The cover is a bit thinner then what I am used to, but it does the job it is made to do, keep the wetness in!  I was able to keep this diaper on my son for about 3 hours (15 months old) with no leaks!  Yes, that is how amazing the prefold is!  Econobum has come out with new covers with colored trim also, if you haven't seen that yet. I also LOVE the fit of this diaper.  Fits perfectly just like everything else made by Cotton Babies!

Let me tell you a little bit about Jennifer's Cloth Diaper Boutique.  Lynda runs her store out of her house.  Her house is a bit of a drive (about 20 minutes because she lives in the beautiful country side), so she is willing to meet everyone for customer pick up in the city if we want to.  I love that she gives that option, I have actually used that option twice when shopping with her.  I did go to her house once though, where she explained all the diapers that she had there to me. I got to see the Lil Joeys and Rumparooz, which I have NEVER seen before, a long with a few other diapers.  I immediately fell in love with the Lil Joeys and the Rumparooz and HAD to get a Rumparooz while I was there.  AND she had the robot print in stock!  SO CUTE!  She also made me fall in love with Softbumz (which I resisted the urge to buy right then and there, but then ordered it two days later from here....ops...lol).  I really appreciate all the time that Lynda took with me to do all that and had to give her all of the amazing words that she deserves for that!

Cow Patties Review and Giveaway

This is a lovely pocked diaper that Cow Patties made for me to review.  This diaper is SO soft on the inside.  The diaper is also extremely absorbent!  My favorite thing about this diaper is easy it is to was and how fast it dries!

This pocket diaper has a great fit on my chubby monkey!  It is also SO darn cute!  Cow Patties is a wonderful company that is up and running on Facebook.  The two owners, Megan and Jamie, are always talking to everyone on there and interacting with their customers.

They are also extremely affordable!  For a pocket diaper it is only $12-14!  They also carry wet bags, covers, AI2, fitteds (pocket and regular), wipes, and baby legs.

Forward Thinking Review and Giveaway

I received a OS cover for review from Forward Thinking.  This cover is amazing!  It fits perfectly and does not have the bulkiness of a lot of other covers I have tried.  It also has the perfect rise and everything for my son.  I though that I would not like it because of the side snaps...but I think I like the side snaps better in this cover then if it was in the front.  This is only the second side snapping I have ever tried and both were a great experience, so I think it is time to change my mind about side snaps!

Forward Thinking's covers are extremely affordable!  Only $15 and fits 12 lbs and up!  And it must be pretty up there because there is still room to grow on my son who is 29 lbs now!
