Viva La Fluff Review and Giveaway

When I first started cloth diapering I had so many issues finding a diaper that fit my little guy correctly with his not so average body type.  I always thought to myself how awesome would it be if I had some talent I could design my own diapers and build them around my own baby?  Well that is exactly what Caitlin from Viva La Fluff did!  She started cloth diapering when her baby Cooper was 3 months old due to terrible rashes and disposables not being able to hold his blow outs.  After trying out several types of diapers and finding what she liked and didn’t like she decided to try to make her own diapers and it was a success!  She still uses the first diaper she made, it can be seen in her Facebook profile pictures actually; it is the Superman flannel print with two layers of fleece inside.  Too cute!  Caitlin tried a few free patterns but in the end she crafted her own.

Caitlin specializes in AI2 and fitted diapers, but also makes reversible covers, wipes and car seat covers as well.  She sent me an AI2 and a fitted and I had the tough decision to choose which one to review and which one would be the giveaway.  The AIO is an adorable animal print knit outer with two layers of water repelling anti-pill fleece while the fitted was a cute musical note flannel outer with a hidden layer of cotton fleece and a squishy soft cotton velour inner.  Both have a snap in snake style two layered soaker made of velour and cotton fleece.  All the diapers she makes have snap closure (my favorite!) that cross over and a snap down rise for tiny ones.

I chose the the fitted diaper to review, I figured the winner shouldn’t have to buy an additional cover for their prize.  I must say that my little guy wore the fitted without a cover several times and never completely saturated it and he is a very heavy wetter.  Little T has chunky thighs and the encased elastic never made marks on him which I love.  There was never any marks from the back elastic either.  I also love how the diaper is so soft and stretchy that I actually folded the rise down in between the snap down snaps and the fully unfolded largest setting for a perfect fit. The diaper has been washed and worn several times and is still super soft and it dries very quickly.  With spring and summer coming up I really like that Little T can run around without a cover on and air flows to his tush.

The diaper is super easy to prep, only takes one washing and is a super quick dryer with the snap in separate soaker and again is super soft after several washings.
