So, I have a new stress relief and I feel like I am doing so much better with everything now! What is this may you ask? Well, a little bit of everything. I am now in DIY (do it yourself) mode. I have ideas and patterns for almost everything you can think of now. As many of you know, I sew. But now I also crochet, knit, and cross stitch right now. I have all those projects going PLUS I found this AWESOME way to redo your kitchen chairs using ribbons! I found that in JoAnns when I was just looking all over the place. I can't wait to start posting pictures of all of my new projects once they get done! Oh, and I also have found a wonderful DIY blog where I found a way to make pictures out of paint chips that you find in WalMart or any hardware store.
Now, my question for you is.....what kind of crafty things do you like to do? Is there something you have been dying to try doing?
I can sew the basics but nothing fancy. Haven't had time to sew for over a year though! I would love to learn to knit or crochet. It's the finding time when I work all week long! Weekends are for all the cleaning that didn't happen during the week and entering giveaways! LOL
ReplyDeleteI have all these ideas, boxes of clothes to upcycle, remnant and such. I read more about DIYs than doing right now. Maybe u should be glad when people mess up plans to visit Joanns with coupons!
ReplyDeleteI want to learn to knit... but I first want to crochet a baby hat for my little girl, but I need to finish beading a necklace first! :)
ReplyDeleteI find crafting very relaxing, I just have trouble getting started.

I love the look of hand painted furniture and would like to learn to do this, especially for my children!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE knitting!!
ReplyDeleteI am SOOOO into the whole DIY thing!!! I make my own laundry soap, dishcloths, afghans, hats, really anything you can crochet!! I am trying my hand at making wool dryer balls at the moment (gotta find my nylons so I can actually felt these things! haha). And in the future (hopefully sooner than later), I want to make homemade goats milk soap, some rag quilts and sew my own cloth diapers! I am so motivated, I just need the TIME. Haha
ReplyDeleteRecently I LOVE crocheting! :)
ReplyDeleteI've sewn, scrapbooked, and I try to cook...sometimes! But really, crochet is my big thing right now :)
I keep finding fun things to do/make online and start them or print up the directions and don't finish them :/ I found a how-to on making my own wool dryer balls so that is in the works right now and I would love to learn to knit!
