MaMaTuTu Review and Giveaway

Tanya is the ‘Mama behind the machine’ and creator of MaMaTuTu diapers.   Tanya also makes ring slings, diaper covers, and wet bags-both for your kitchen and cloth diaper storage.   Tanya was sweet enough to send me one of her one size fitted diapers for a review.

When I received my MaMaTuTu one size fitted in the mail I thought it had to be the cutest thing ever.  This is the first Dr. Suess print diaper I have owned and it seriously is one of my favorites.   We have had some really nice days here lately and I have had the diaper on my little guy without a cover several times, and I only prep washed it one time before having him start wearing it (although Tanya suggest washing it 5-6 times to fully prep it).  The diaper is super absorbent and squishy soft on the inside and is very well made and fits very trimly for how absorbent it is.  It is made of cute woven print outer (she has so many adorable prints available!) that is turned and topstitched, hidden layer of bamboo fleece with a cotton/bamboo velour inner layer so the baby has a dry feeling against their skin.  Every diaper comes with snap closure-my favorite, and has a 2 layer snap in soaker that features 2 layers of organic bamboo fleece and is topped with a combination of organic bamboo velour and cotton velour.  The soaker is wonderfully long and contoured.  We have had a few diapers that had soakers that were so short they barely covered my little ones boy parts but as you can see from the picture this soaker offers great coverage.  The diaper is the perfect width in the crotch area as well, we have has a few diapers that are too wide or too narrow but this one is just right!  The diapers fit from about 12 pounds to 35 pounds and are super quick drying in the dryer. Tanya also has newborn diapers for 12 pounds and under.

We haven’t had any leaks and the elastic on the diaper is so perfectly done that there are no red marks on my little guy yet it can hold in a MAJOR mess.  I would like to add that the diaper also cleans up very nicely without even sunning.  The diaper has stayed super squishy soft after continued washings as whenever it is clean we use it so it gets washed a lot!
