Baker Baby Review and Giveaway

Michelle is a new first time mommy to Baker born in December 2010 and the creative behind Bakerbaby on Etsy and has been sewing for over 10 years.  Her shop offers some of the most beautiful maternity tops, quilting kits and fabrics not to mention her breast pads.

Michelle was kind enough to send me a super soft pair of pink breast pads for review. I was really excited to put them to the test since I have not tried hemp breast pads before.  I have had different experiences with hemp diaper inserts before some being scratchy and some being soft so I was eager to get these in my hands.  They are super soft and so pretty pink!  I am not what you would call a girlie girl so it was nice to have a pink feminine touch-even if I was the only one really seeing it.

The pads are 4 ½” each and are 3 layers of hemp and cotton fleece blend with serged edges.  Very easy to care for just toss them in the washer with regular laundry, make sure not to use fabric softener though!  I love being able to care for something that takes no extra time!

Knowing how absorbent hemp is I put them to the ultimate test right away, OVERNIGHT.  They worked beautifully.  No leaking at all and I was nice and dry as well. These pads are super absorbent.  I would love to have a stack of these around for the next baby!

    These sound great! I'm nursing twins right now and have yet to find a cloth solution for overnights, since I leak a lot. I'd love it if I won these and they did the trick!

    I liked Baker Baby on FB and I'm her second fan, woo-hoo! I hope she gets a ton more.

    Well aside from the nursing pads, the soy and organic cotton lotus maternity top at her site is really cute! Makes me almost wish I was planning on having more kids one day. ;)
