WEE EXPRESSIONS REVIEW AND GIVEAWAY

Nicki has featured Lauren the fabulous mind behind Wee Expressions on the blog before and her products but I haven’t had the pleasure of trying her products until now.  I love WAHM products because I know I am helping support a mom that will get to stay at home with her kids (like I do) and I love getting to know WAHM’s.  It was a pleasure working with Lauren and getting to know her a little bit.  She has 4 beautiful girls ranging in age from 17 months to 11 years.  She started sewing diapers 3 years ago when a friend taught her how and Lauren had decided she wanted to be more ‘green’ and cut costs so she started making her own diapers and nursing pads and has been hard at work ever since!

Lauren sent me 3 sets of nursing pads, and boy are they adorable!  Such cute prints it’s almost a shame to hide them!  I received the cutest outdoorsy moose print, pretty birds and adorable monkeys-my favorite!

When I first started nursing I had no idea there was any options really besides plain old cotton, and having to carry around a stack with me in the diaper bag wherever I went.  Not only does the flannel material Lauren uses absorb and stay super soft but there is a waterproof PUL layer so no leaks on your clothes! The pads are surrounded with Bias tape so they last longer than you would expect and look nice too!  Lauren has several prints available and can also adjust the soaker layers to your preference usually 2 or 3 layers. They are super thin but very absorbent and they are very large for coverage and staying in place which is super important as I have had issues with pads popping out before! I love how the pads form a ‘cup’ shape and I never had to think about them again for the rest of the day!
