The Little Snap Pea Review and Giveaway

When Carrie from Little Snap Pea contacted me for a review of her snappies I was overjoyed!  My little guy has gotten into the stage of loving throwing and dropping things as a game and my 12 year old just encourages it with sound effects!  I couldn’t wait to get my hands on her creations and keep things off the floor!

Carrie is a wahm that has an adorable little 2.5 year old boy that loves to help her create!  He is the Manager of snap sorting and always helps in the “office”.  Carrie and her husband came up with the idea of snappies when they realized they had a curious little monkey on their hands and as a result of their invention they haven’t had to deal with the dropping game like me and haven’t lost any beloved toys or sippy cups.

When my snappies arrived I was very impressed with how sturdy they looked.  Carrie sent me the cutest whale print fabric and a super silky giraffe print ribbon design.  I gave them each a little tug and they seemed solid so I handed them to the boys to get testing!  My boys (yes both of them!) put the snappies to the test! My 12 year old snapped them to everything and encouraged my 12 month old to toss away! Both the fabric snappie and the ribbon snappie held up to everything my boys could dish out.  Full sippy cups, Sophie the giraffe (or in our house George the giraffe) and honestly they even strapped my purse to them and threw it! Needless to say we understand now that we don’t play with mommies purse (Grrr!) but the snappies held up.  My youngest actually totes them around wherever he goes, he doesn’t even necessarily need toys or a sippy attached!  He really just likes them alone!

I would highly suggest having a few of these if you have any age child as it seems most go through a throwing stage and these snappies can save messes and lost valuables that a child can sometimes not live without if lost.

Carrie also offers coordinating paci snappies for pacifiers and nappies (prefolds with ribbon trim) to go along with your (sippy/toy) snappies so your baby will be stylish as well as functional.  She has tons of fabric and ribbon choices and I love her idea of the nappies being trimmed with ribbon so you know which of your prefolds are for the “upper” half and which ones are for the “lower” half!  Brilliance!
