Doopsy SD Review and Giveaway Sponsored by For Mom and Keiki

First lets start out with the wonderful store!  For Mom and Keiki has an amazing owner, Gloria, who is one of the sweetest owners I have ever gotten to do business with.  She was drop-shipping my order and keep me up to date on everything that was going on.  On top of all that, she is a WONDERFUL store from my home state of VA!  Her store is very well organized!  She also has many different things all about breastfeeding!  I wish I knew about her site when I was BFing!

Now for the Doopsy SD.  When I first got this, I had to do a little bit of research on the Doopsy because I could not figure out the inserts!  It was VERY confusing at first.  Once I figured that out, I fell in love...like, head over heels in love, with this diaper!  My son is a very heavy wetter, especially overnight!  He can soak through a BG with a regular sized microfiber insert, a hemp insert, and a newborn insert all in there.  I put on the Doopsy SD for his overnight diaper and IT WORKED!  I was so excited!  I need to buy more!  This is the highest absorbency diaper I have ever tried!  I am so happy that we found each other!

If you have not seen the inserts yet, they are really cool.  There is a large insert that folds into itself to make it like a little pocket.  On the outside, backside there is 1 layer of PUL on it.  Then, you stuff the pocket with microfiber, hemp, anything you would like!  It is awesome!

This diaper also has a wonderful fit for my son.  It is a tad bit bulky, but to me that does not matter because it's his overnight diaper.

Waterford Bag Lady

Let’s start from the beginning to the end with this one, because I have an amazing story to tell.  When I first contacted Laura, she was more then happy to supply me with a custom made diaper bag for a review and for a giveaway.  She then told me that I could pick any….yes ANY…fabric I wanted my diaper bag made out of from either Etsy or JoAnn’s Fabrics.  When I picked the one that I liked, she promptly ordered the fabric.  She received the fabric on September 20^th when her sewing machine died.  Even with that happening, she STILL got the bag done on September 22^nd…yes…two days!  She promptly sent it out to me and I received it on September 27^th.  So, 7 days after she received the fabric, my bag was here!  Can you say FAST and AMAZING!  Okay, now that I got all of that out of the way…sorry, I had to tell you about that, let me tell you about the bag.

This bag is the most well made bag I have ever seen!  She put so much sewing into it I have NO idea how she was able to complete it in just two days!  There are so many compartments in this bag that I get to organize everything so amazingly.  I have shown this bag to every single person I know already and they ALL love it!!!  She also sells purses!!! Blueberry Diaper Review and Abby's Lane Giveaway

Abby’s Lane was very nice and decided to participate in a review and giveaway!  Stephanie, the owner of Abby’s Lane is one of the sweetest mama’s I have ever had the pleasure of working with and had four adorable children of her own.  She is from my home state of Virginia and I was so happy to have a VA mama to work with. 

Stephanie sent me a Blueberry minky diaper to review.  The first thing I said about this diaper was, “Oh my goodness!  This is the softest diaper I have ever felt in my life!”  Then I ran over to my neighbors house, who also CDs, to have her feel the diaper!  Yes, sometimes I am that lame LOL.

This diaper is not only absorbent, but it is one of the cutest diapers I now own.  I was so scared to put it in the wash because I was afraid that it would lose its amazing softness, but it didn’t!  Not only that, it dries pretty darn fast too!

Even my son loved this diaper.  The minute I put it on and he felt how soft the outside was, his hands couldn’t stop rubbing it!

The Blueberry diaper also worked perfectly overnight!  I was amazed!  I had to use both microfiber inserts that come with it for overnight, but it didn’t leak at all.  

I also loved that the hook and loop was a lot more…umm, sticky…then other ones.  My son can rip a bumGenius off in 3.4 seconds (obviously and estimate) but he couldn’t get this one off!  I LOVE THAT!

Abby’s Lane also has amazingly fast shipping!  She sent me the Blueberry diaper via first class USPS and it was here in two days!  Talk about not even having to wait (which is the hardest thing ever for a CD addict)!

Moon Pads Review and Giveaway

I received a heavy pad and an overnight pad from this sponsor.  The heavy pad worked wonderfully and the overnight worked perfectly for overnight.  They were very easily washable and dried fairly quickly.  I love the super cute designs and the little tab on the back that you can hang on a hook or nail in the house for it to dry on.  They were absorbent and easy for outside travel.  However, they do not fold up into little packets.

First of all, let me say how ADORABLE Pleat’s mama pads are!  These things are so cute it’s not even funny!!!  Okay, now…down to business.

Pleat has wonderful customer service.  I don’t think I ever went more then a few hours waiting for a response from her when convoing her through Etsy.  

She also has really fast shipping!  Like…lightning! LOL.

Her mama pads are also amazingly absorbent!   I loved them!  Nothing came through like some other mama pads that I purchased and am still waiting on an email back from them…

The only downfall I saw is that it can’t be folded into the little packages like other one’s can.  I really enjoy being able to fold them up for discreteness but it does not change the fact that I love this mama pad so much!

Glad Rag Review and Giveaway

I received 3 GladRags in the mail the other day.  They sent me a panty liner, a day pad, and an overnight pad. 

I was kind of apprehensive of these pads because they are MUCH different then any other mama pad I have ever seen before.  But they are FABOULOUS!!!  

The overnight pad was nice and big with two liners in the middle for extra protection.  I had NO leaks overnight!

The day pad includes 2 inserts.  This pad was super absorbent, and again…NO LEAKS!!!

At first I thought that I had no use for the panty liner because I do not wear tampons or menstrual cups.  BUT boy was I wrong.  This pad worked PERFECTLY for my really light days at the end!

My favorite things about these mama pads is that they all are super absorbent, super cute and all of them can be folded into small little packages for easy transportation.

Momto3Qties Review and Giveaway

This mama has so many different prints and different kinds of mama pads it is not even funny!  She sent me THE CUTEST rainbow mama pad every with her new wings.  I love this pad.  I think it is adorable and fun all at the same time!  This pad was nice and absorbent and really good for my medium flow days.  I am also a big fan of the fact that it stays in place!  No more uncomfortable scooting around of a cloth pad every time I can!  It also can be folded into the cute little package for discreetness.  This mama pad was lucky enough to be able to go with me to one of my long Saturday classes and I was very happy (AND RELEIVED!) that it did not leak through before I was able to take a break (my class is 7 hours long, first break is at 2 hours).

MyMyBaby Review and Giveaway

MyMyBaby has many different products at her store.  The one that we are interested in the most this week is her mini wet bag.  This mini wet bag is amazing for cloth pads.  It is small so that it fits nicely in a purse but yet it is large enough to fit 2-3 cloth pads in there.  I did a severe test on this mini wet bag and put a wet insert inside it and left it overnight on top of a paper towel.  Let me tell you how it DID NOT leak at all!  I was amazed!  

This bag is lined with nylon on the inside which, obviously, is extremely water proof.  She also has some amazingly cute prints for them.  My favorite part of it is that there is a knitted flower on it (which gives it the final mama touch) that snaps on and off.  If you win this one, make sure that you take the knitted flower off when washing, as per instructions of MyMyBaby.

RCD Boutique Review and Giveaway

I am horrible about Hawaiian prints and when the owner of this store said that I could do Hawaiian I was ALL OVER IT!!!!  I LOVE THESE PRINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Okay, did I say enough about how much I love the prints?   BTW, I think I will just keep the giveaway one if you guys don’t mind…..JUST JOKING….gotta share the love!

MomsCrafts4U Review and Giveaway

Veronica, the owner of Moms Crafts 4U, sent me a light-normal pad and a normal-heavy flow pad for review.  

I don’t know what to say besides I love them both!  They are amazingly soft and easy to work with.  She uses ZORB for the inner layer of both of them and had PUL on her normal-heavy flow pads.  The ZORB is a wonderful inner layer because, in Veronica’s words, it “holds 10 times it’s weight in less than half a second”. 

Both of pads can be folded into the nice little packages and include numbers on them (1 being a light flow and 3 being a heavy) so that you can easily tell which pad you are grabbing and which one you need for that day.

Sugirons Review and Giveaway

This pad is so entirely cute it is ridiculous!  I know I never told her, but I LOVE pink and white together…none the less, pink polka dot!

I love how absorbent this pad is also!  This pad is made out of ZORB and has a hidden layer of pull inside.  This pad is great for the normal flow days.  I don’t think that it would keep up with my extremely heavy flows, but I could be wrong.   It did work wonderfully, though, for my normal day that I tried it on.

This pad ended up being tried out during my Saturday class (a 7 hour class where a good pad is worth more then…well, frankly, embarrassment and a pair of pants).   I am so happy that this pad was able to hold up for my class!  Thank you Sugirons for saving me from horror!!!!  LOL.

Happy Earth Creations Review and Giveaway

OMG!  Yes, that was my first reaction, thought I would share with you.  Leah, the brains behind these AMAZING mama pads, sent me an 11.5 inch heavy pad with a bamboo core and a 9.5 inch regular flow pad with a zorb core.  Ready for the OMG of it all?  They are made of minky fabric on the inside that touches you.  I actually couldn’t wait for my cycle and was so excited when it came on time!  This was the first one I had to use…and yes, it was soft…I wanted to sign with relief when I put it on.  LOL.

These pads are amazingly adorable and absorbent!  I tried the normal pad on my first day of my cycle, which is super heavy.  I was a little bit nervous about using a normal pad on a heavy day, but it worked.  It sat there like a pro for about 2 hours when I changed.  I LOVE the larger snap tabs on these because it makes it even harder for the pad to go anywhere!!!

I used the 11.5 inch heavy pad overnight and it worked FABULOUSLY!  I am so happy that now I am positive of at least 3 pads for overnight!!!

bump2baby Review and Giveaway

I love this little carrying case!  It is SO adorable.  It is meant to be a diaper/wipes case, but I would like to talk about it as being a mama cloth carrying case.  This case is so large that it could easily fit 10-15 mama cloths, which is way more then you should ever need in one day but great to know for traveling!  This case has Velcro on it to seal the case, which comes in handy, especially if you are in and out of your bag a lot (I’m sure it would be quite embarrassing to drop one of those on a Friday night in the mall!).  I just put in what I would use for my time out (my Saturday 7 hour class where I needed to bring 5, just in case!) and then just kind of wrap it up (for extra protection from getting dropped out just in case) and it worked PERFECTLY!  Actually, someone wanted to know where I got my beautiful pencil holder from haha! :-D
