Polar Bear Review and Giveaway

Today I am going to tell you about Polar Bear Coolers.  I got the wonderful opportunity to review a 12 pack cooler from Polar Bear Coolers.  But first, I would like to give you some information on their coolers.

Exceptional quality inside and out. The Polar BearĂ¢€™s leak proof / sweat proof design is tough, rugged and built to last. The heavy-duty outer shell is comprised of 1000 denier Cordura nylon and high-density open cell foam. The PBC will not mold or mildew and is washable in soap and water.

Nothing keeps cool like a Polar Bear! The Polar BearĂ¢€™ Dura-Temp liner, and air trap design keeps ice for at least 24 hours in 100 degree heat and will withstand boiling water without damage. The Dura-Temp liner is leak proof, puncture resistant, and pulls inside out for easy cleaning.

The Polar Bear fits about anywhere and when not in use packs away nicely. We stand behind our product with a one-year warranty against manufacture defects. We are confident you will enjoy years of performance from your Polar Bear.

Well, after reading that I bet you are intrigued.  Well, so was I!  When I got this on the doorstep I was so excited to put it to the test.  It was another hot day here on the day we got it.  Over 100 degrees for a few days.  So, hubby and I decided to put it to the ultimate test.  We put a bottle of water in it from the fridge and put it outside.  Not just outside, but outside in the sun.  The water was out there for a few hours, and it was still cold when we checked it, so we decided to leave it out overnight.  When I got the chance to check it, it was 10AM and already sitting at 91 degrees.  The cooler was now sitting out in the heat for 19 hours (we put it out at 3 PM the day before).  The water was still cold, so we left it out later.  It was another over 100 degree day, so we figured at sun down, it would be warm.  So we checked it out again at 9 PM and it was STILL COLD!!!  So, that is a total of 27 hours and the water still felt like it just got out of the fridge.

Look at the awesome little pocket that is on the front also! :-)

We then decided to leave it out overnight again, sure that when we woke up the water would be warm.  Well, what we didn't know was that it was going to POUR that night.  When we got up and saw that it had rained, we were worried that we might have messed up our experiment.  I went out and checked on the water that was still cold, but not as cold as it was when we took it out of the fridge 39 hours ago.  Well, I was expecting the bag to be filled with water because of the rain, but it was not!  I couldn't believe that not even a DROP of rain got inside the bag!

After all of this experimentation, we have come to conclude that this is REALLY the best cooler we have ever seen!  It is awesome that you don't even have to put ice in it to keep it cool (we didn't for the experiment).  You also don't have to put it in the fridge or freezer to get it ready, it is just ready to go!  All in all, definitely an A+++++ cooler and must have!!!
