AMP Diapers Review and Giveaway

I received a Duo Pocket diaper in the mail the other day from AMP.  The first thing both me and my son noticed was how soft it was!  My son came over, Grabbed an insert, and ran away with it.  He thought it was a blanket!  He held it up to his face and cuddled wit it!  I loved it, should have gotten a picture, so I thought I should share that experience with you.

The diaper that I am reviewing is a diaper that can be used as an AI2 OR a pocket diaper!!!  All you do is either put in the insert for the pocket diaper...

or use the AI2 insert over the cover!

This diaper was really nice.  I was able to make it fit perfectly for my little one (or not so little...1 year old...28 lbs...haha).  It worked very well during the day.  For overnight I used one AI2 insert and one pocket insert and it held all of my super wetters messes!!!  It is super cute and runs at $18 per diaper, which I feel is under priced for the amazingness of this diaper.  It is a very superior diaper, better than any other pocket or AI2 I have ever used.  Again, it is VERY soft, fits great, and is VERY absorbent.  I love the ability to change between an AI2 or a pocket diaper.  This ends up allowing me to use the diaper cover up to 3 times without having to wash the cover (or use prefolds...I am not a big fan of prefolds).  If any other mama is even half as busy as I am, this is an AMAZING feature!!!!!

I received this package just a few days ago and the first thing I had to do was rip it open and see them!

The Kool Legs were amazing!  I love the colors and I love the fit of them on my chunky baby (I have had problems with the baby legs making marks on his legs because they were too small of a band for my son).

They also will look good with so many outfits he has, as you can see with the picture...I swear I didn't re-dress him or anything ;-)

Review of Wee Essentials/LaDaniels

I received this diaper and was so excited to get it on my LO.  This diaper is not only absorbent but it is ADORABLE!

Let's start off with the fact that it comes wrapped up in an ADORABLE little package!  It makes you even more excited to get your fluff!!!!

I put it on my son and long behold...NO LEAKS!!!   Perfect fit!  All around A++++ fitted diaper!!!

One thing is that it does not have snaps or hook and loop.  You can use it just like a prefold (diaper pins, snappy, or just tuck it in).  I did not find this a problem at all.

Another great feature of this diaper is that there is a stitching across the middle inside the diaper.  This causes the inside not to move around (a common problem I run into at least).

I tried to get a picture so that you can see it, but I guess it didn't work so well.

Also, Lauren is offering a complimentary wipe to match your diaper!!!!  HOW AWESOME!!!  We all love free stuff right???

Long day!!!

All day today I have been looking for new diapers to purchase.  I have a little bit of extra cash and would like to purchase some other brands that I haven't tried yet to get up for reviews.  Any suggestions ladies?  Is there any diaper that you guys have been dying to try but don't want to spend the money on just to find out what they are like?  Let me know so I can get some more brands up here.  I was going to do reviews today on the WAHM diapers that I have, but I think I should stay to the manufactured diapers until the blog gets up and going.

Long day of washing and drying!!!

I love all of my diapers, but I think I may have too large of a stash (is that possible!?!?!) I had to spend almost all day today washing and drying diapers, not because they were all dirty, but because I love to change my son into new diapers every 10 minutes because they are so cute and fun!  Haha, yes, that is a sign of a cloth diapering addict.  Seriously, all I really do online anymore is look up new diapers that I would like to buy for my son!!!  How horrible is that?

Besides that, my day was as smooth as ice.  I don't own a washer/drier...so I go to my husband's nanny's house to do diapers.  She is so sweet and gives me a break the days that I go over to do laundry.  I seriously barely have to do anything those days!  It's wonderful!

Great service, especially if you are in the area (free pick up and can get it the same day as ordering).  When I met the owner of this store, she was extremely friendly.  I was pleasantly surprised that she was able to meet me the same day that I ordered (she called me about an hour, if that, after I ordered).  I figured that I wouldn't be able to pick up until at least a day!

www.cottonbabies.com: This store is user friendly also.  Offers free shipping.  The downfall of this store is that there are not very many different brands.  Mostly because their store is to promote their own diapers (BumGenius, Flip, Ecobum).  However, they do have the best prices for the BumGenius.  I used their promo (that is always going on) for their BumGenius 3.0's.  $89.50 for 6 of them.  Pretty good price!!! :-)
