Green Bumkin Review and Giveaway

Today I am going to review a OS AIO from Green Bumkin.  Green Bumkin is an Etsy shop that offers diapers, wipes, and paci clips.  Check out her shop to see some examples of her great work!

The diaper that I got is made out of one of my FAVORITE BabyVille prints.  I seriously love this print!  It fits right in with my family of monsters haha.  But anyways, besides the cuteness factor, it is made remarkably well.  I could not find any kind of flaws with this diaper in the sewing or anything.  And seeing that I am a sewer, it is MUCH easier for use to see the smallest flaw (which I have caught on some name brand diapers).  So, to say that this is VERY well sewn means something from a sewer :-)

Here is what the diaper is made of:
-Outter shell of PUL.
-Inside consists of a total of 5 layers of Oeko-tex organic certified heavy bamboo/organic cotton fleece with a hidden layer of Zorb. Zorb absorbs moisture 10 times its weight in half a second, 20 times faster than cotton and can retain 3 times the amount of microfiber terry.
-Only natural fibers touch baby’s skin.
-Soaker pieces are sewn separately and only attached at back of diaper to allow more thorough cleaning and faster drying time.
-One size fits most (12-35 lbs), adjustable with a snap down rise.

So, as you can guess, this diaper is absolutely amazing at absorbency.  I can actually use this diaper as is for overnight without any leaks!  Overnight can be so tricky, as I am sure all of you know.  It is always good to test a diaper during the day first before you use it overnight as every baby is different.  And that is just what I did.  After it made it through 2 hours during the day, I tried it for his 3 hour nap.  When it worked for that, I tried it for overnight.  I was so excited to find dry sheets in the morning!!!

Another feature that I love (I don't really need it anymore, but I still love it) is that there are four snap down rises.  This means that the diaper can fit even smaller babies!  Who doesn't love getting more bang for their buck?!?!  Well, with diapers that fit smaller, you cut out the need for newborn diapers!  Sweet! :-)

The fit of this diaper is absolutely amazing.  I was able to get the lower rise that I like by setting it on the small setting and folding over the sewn in inserts.  I like lower rises because I think they just look a little bit better.  Anyways, so I was able to get a lower rise out of it without compromising his thighs.  Usually if I make the diaper a small, Dan starts getting red marks on his thighs from the legs being too tight.  Well, not with this diaper!  This shows that the diaper is AMAZING at customizing the fit to your child!  And, let's be honest, how amazingly cute does this butt look!?!?!  :-)

And now, thanks to Green Bumkin, you also have your chance to win one!!!!
